Responsibilities

• Repair and replace trailer components, including: Brake systems (air brakes, ABS), Suspension systems, Axles and wheel bearings, Lighting and wiring systems, Landing gear and coupling systems
• Perform structural repairs on trailer frames and panels, including welding and fabrication
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Position Overview

Legacy Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Semi Trailer Mechanic (Service Technician) on behalf of an industrial services client. This role is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and servicing semi-trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, hands‑on experience with heavy‑duty equipment, and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues across multiple trailer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and replace trailer components, including: Brake systems (air brakes, ABS), Suspension systems, Axles and wheel bearings, Lighting and wiring systems, Landing gear and coupling systems
• Perform structural repairs on trailer frames and panels, including welding and fabrication
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues
