JOB DESCRIPTION - DALLAS TRAILER REPAIR CO.

Sign-on Bonus: $3000 for qualifying candidates (Paid as $1500 in 90 days and $1500 in 180 days)

Positions Available:

• Diesel Technician / Refrigeration a Plus
• Trailer Technician

Salary:

$20.00 - $45.00/hr depending on location and experience

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Requires knowledge of mechanic tools, diagnostic equipment, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems, including electrical, cooling, and engine components.
• Routine maintenance and inspections.
• Perform leak detection, compressor replacements, refrigerant line soldering, and engine seal replacements.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of workspace.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Support team and perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge-Based Requirements:

• Knowledge of diesel vehicle systems.
• Use of diagnostic, hand, and power tools.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to pass knowledge/skill tests, background checks, and drug tests.
• Own tools and safety equipment required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions.
• Good vision, hearing, and communication skills.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor shop environment with potential hazards including moving vehicles, high places, chemicals, and noise. Conditions may be hot, cold, dusty, or confined.
