Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Semi -Rigid-Assembler Level 3 at our Lansdale, PA site. You will assemble electronic components, subassemblies and modules from samples, prints and routing instructions, using appropriate tooling and soldering as required.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of assembler experience, J-Standard soldering, and the ability to read process sheets and drawings. U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' assembler experience
• 2 years' soldering experience (JStandard)
• Able to read process sheets, prints or route cards and technical drawings
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment (drill press, lathe, Bridgeport)
• Ability to use hand tools and measurement devices
• Ability to identify, form and mount components
• Able to use microscope for extended periods
• Ability to prep, crimp and set-up tools for conductors
• US Citizenship required due to contractual requirements

Responsibilities

• Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules from samples, visuals, prints and routing instructions using appropriate tooling and machinery.
• Assembles parts using solder, fasteners and adhesives in the build-up of electronic assemblies.
• Verifies results to ensure conformance with requirements and performs rework as needed.
• Performs mechanical assembly operations using standard measuring tools.
• Performs electronic assembly operations such as wire termination and installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors.
• Bonding and honing of parts in preparation of installing and finishing assembly; cleans parts and assemblies per Work Instructions.
• Performs other duties as required.
