Job summary

Remedy Education is working with a welcoming SEMH primary school in Enfield to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to start ASAP. This role focuses on supporting pupils with SEMH needs through 1:1 and small group work, helping them access learning in a nurturing environment.

You will work closely with teachers and the pastoral team, implement IBPs, and help create a calm, inclusive classroom. An enhanced DBS is required or willingness to apply; the position is full-time, long-term with the potential for

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary or SEN school setting.
• Background supporting SEMH or behavioural challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Supporting students with IBPs.
• Using a calm, child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviour.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team.
• Tracking pupil progress and contributing to behaviour reports.
