Job summary

Poudre School District seeks a Counselor at Blevins Middle School in Fort Collins, CO. This long-term substitute covers a leave from November 6 through the semester, with a 100% effort expectation and 188 work days.

Candidate must hold active Colorado Counseling License and SSP/TEE authorization to qualify. Responsibilities include delivering ASCA-aligned services, guiding students academically and personally, and coordinating with families to support success while ensuring a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field and special service provider licensure program required.
• Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
• Valid Colorado Special Services license with School Counselor endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver a data-driven, comprehensive school counseling program.
• Provide individual and small group counseling for academic, career, and social/emotional growth.
• Respond to student crises and refer to appropriate professionals as needed.
• Support student transitions including registration and grade level changes.
• Collaborate with administrators, families, staff, and community partners.
