Job summary

Energy Infrastructure Partners LLC in Chicago seeks a Model Analyst to build and maintain facility-level energy models and conduct regression analyses to quantify savings for SEM programs serving ComEd, PECO, and NYSEG markets.

You will validate data, set baselines, adjust for program rules, and deliver findings to engineers, program managers, and customers with clear documentation and visuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing, interpreting, and validating multivariable regression models.
• Proficiency with Excel and at least one statistical tool (R, Python, SQL).
• Ability to assess model fit, data quality, variable selection, outliers, seasonality, and uncertainty.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and organize utility bills, interval data, production records, weather data, and other drivers for each facility.
• Develop regression models, select baseline periods, and test facility-level models.
• Evaluate model performance and ensure plausibility of coefficients.
• Prepare model files, data dictionaries, calculations, and narratives for reviews.
• Collaborate with SEM coaches, engineers, and program managers to validate drivers and interpret results.
• Present baselines, trends, savings estimates, and uncertainty clearly.
