Job summary

Trunk Space Storage is seeking an experienced Store Manager for our Mt. Pleasant, SC location. You will oversee daily operations, drive occupancy, and ensure exceptional customer service across in-person, online, and phone interactions.

You will lead a small team, manage leasing and payments, maintain facility cleanliness, and implement marketing strategies to boost revenue. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with weekend availability and physical

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in customer service with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of the self-storage industry.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move around the property for tours/inspections.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
• Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, open 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, ensuring efficient facility performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service (online, phone, in person) and build tenant relationships.
• Oversee leasing, payment processing, and delinquency management.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and security through inspections and light cleaning.
• Implement marketing strategies to improve occupancy and revenue.
• Perform administrative tasks like completing leases and inventory audits.
• Handle banking, deposits, and record-keeping to reduce delinquent accounts.
• Coordinate with local vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Lead and develop the team to sustain a positive work environment.
• Sell storage-related merchandise and manage inventory.
