Job summary

Public Storage is hiring Property Managers to work independently at multiple locations; you’ll assess customer storage needs and make recommendations for packing and moving supplies, while maintaining high standards of service outdoors and indoors.

Daily tasks include inspecting units, auditing cash drawers, processing deposits, and staying on top of customer payments with call-backs when needed; mileage between properties is reimbursed and bonuses are available for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant or service industries.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel between locations (mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Our Property Managers get to work independently at multiple locations; spending time both inside and outside.
• We assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent.
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business.
• We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
