Job summary

Go Store It in Indiana is seeking a dependable maintenance person to join our team. This full-time on-site role offers steady 40 hours per week with schedule flexibility.

You will walk the property daily, fix locks, lights, doors, toilets, and perform simple repairs, while keeping hallways and units clean and ready for tenants.

You’ll help customers on site, ensure gates and alarms work, and receive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• You don’t need a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to spot trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or other issues.
• Repair small items like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and basic patchwork.
• Keep hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash areas clean.
• Turn over units after move-outs and prepare them for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure they’re functioning.
• Assist customers on site and provide hands-on help when needed.
• Maintain the property so it looks right and runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
