Job summary

Devon Self Storage is seeking a Full-Time Assistant General Manager based at our Orangevale, CA store. You will also cover shifts at the Sacramento location, delivering a high-touch customer experience and driving sales.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, securing the store, assisting customers, processing payments, and basic maintenance, with a focus on growth and long-term careers within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Open, close and secure store daily.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through rentals and merchandise.
• Ensure products are ordered, received, stocked, priced, and displayed.
• Assist General Manager with the online auction process.
• Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
• Provide a personalized, high-touch customer experience.
• Process payments and balance receipts; complete bank deposits.
• Perform daily property walkthroughs and basic maintenance.
