Job summary

Michael Page US in Columbus is seeking a Superintendent to lead self-perform construction on large data center megaprojects with no travel requirements. You will coordinate field crews, safety initiatives, schedules, and execution across concrete, carpentry and related scopes.

We seek a leader with background in carpentry or concrete, proven experience directing field crews, mentoring craft professionals, and a safety-first mindset.

Job Description

• Lead self-perform construction activities on large-scale projects, with an immediate focus on data center work in the Columbus market.
• Coordinate field crews, safety initiatives, schedules, and daily operations to keep work progressing efficiently.
• Work closely with project teams to plan self-perform scopes, manpower needs, and sequencing strategies.
• Mentor craft professionals and field staff while maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
• Drive quality, productivity, and execution across concrete, carpentry, and related self-perform scopes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Background in carpentry, concrete, or self-perform construction operations.
• Experience leading field crews and coordinating self-perform work on commercial or industrial projects.
• Team-first leadership style with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and safety.
• Long-term commitment to the Columbus market with no desire for extensive travel.
• Construction Management or Engineering degree, plus data center, healthcare, education, or industrial experience, is beneficial but not required.
