Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced leader to manage Self-Perform Operations (SPO) projects in Lima, OH. You will direct staffing, proactive planning, and budgeting, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with contracts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and about 8 years of related experience, with strong supervisory skills and union experience preferred. You will collaborate with the project team to drive safety, quality, and financial performance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program and 8 years of related experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Prior union management experience desired.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, budgeting, and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and coordinate Self-Perform Operations (SPO) projects, including overall project pursuit, staffing, proactive planning and implementation, budget, and risk management.
• Lead development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring; provide regular feedback and appraisals.
• Foster diversity and inclusion; develop client relationships and trusted advisor status.
• Understand and administer contracts and subcontracts; manage schedules and master planning.
• Promote involvement with the community and strengthen vendor relations.
• Oversee budget, financial reporting, and adherence to the project budget.
• Manage productivity, QC program, and risk evaluation; support negotiations and pricing decisions.
• Ensure timely pay applications, subcontract review, and payment terms compliance.
