Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• May require 48 college credit hours or passing the ParaPro exam if in a Title I school.
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and district procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising teacher to support instruction and programming.
• Provide direct services to students in the self-contained setting.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and data collection as directed.
• Assist with student supervision during activities and transitions.
• Prepare and adapt instructional materials under guidance.
• Protect student confidentiality and follow district policies.
• Support a safe, positive classroom environment.
• Attend required professional development for Special Education.
