Job summary

Food Lion in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Self-Checkout Ambassador to deliver fast, friendly service at the SCO area and support the Front End team. You will guide customers to open registers, assist with mobile attendants, and ensure a smooth checkout experience for shoppers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Smile, greet each customer and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging with customers to create a personalized checkout experience.
• Guide customers to an open SCO register and support the SCO experience from start to finish.
• Assist customers on how to use Self-checkouts properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience.
• Respond to customer inquiries and self-checkout system notifications in support of a hassle-free shopping trip.
• Maintain the self-checkout area neat and clean and report any issues to management.
