Food Lion in Wilkesboro, NC seeks a Self-Checkout Ambassador to deliver fast, friendly service and support customers using self-checkout stations. You will greet shoppers by name, guide them through checkout, and help maintain a smooth front-end experience.

Ideal candidates are service-minded, able to multitask, and capable of handling the physical aspects of the job. Training will cover front-end standards and safety practices.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilidades

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and uses their name whenever possible.
• Assist customers on how to use Self-checkouts properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience.
• Respond timely to customer inquiries and self-checkout system notifications.
• Monitor multiple self-checkouts for proper customer usage including the scanning of all items and the accurate scanning of each item.
• Remind customers of items located on the bottom of the cart or items under baby seats prior to them completing the transaction.
• When needed, assist in scanning the customer's order and provide instructions on payment.
