Job summary

Food Lion in Wendell, NC is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service and assist customers with self-checkout technology. You will greet customers, ensure accurate scanning, and maintain a clean, efficient self-checkout area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service at self-checkout.
• Greet customers and use their name when possible.
• Assist customers with using Self-checkouts and hand scanner for quick checkout.
• Monitor self-checkouts for proper use and accurate scanning of items.
• Maintain neat presentation of the self-checkout area and report issues promptly.
• Complete CBT and training aid courses as required.
