Job summary

Bedford Public Schools invites applications for an Educational Support Professional in Social, Emotional and Behavioral Intervention (Tier 3). The ESP-3 provides instructional, social-emotional, and behavioral support under counseling staff, helping students progress toward goals during intervention periods.

Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with routines, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and counselors to support learning.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Psychology, Education or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of social, emotional and behavioral interventions and accommodations (Tier 3 general education) under counseling staff.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal and field trips, and escorting students as required.
• Provide small group or one-on-one instructional support aligned with student goals and related plans.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare for daily classes and understand learning targets.
• Collect and analyze data across multiple datapoints and provide feedback on progress.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
