Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Integration & Test (CS SEIT) Manager 2 for the Roy, UT area. This role leads a Functional Home Room of engineers, mentors staff, and advances modeling, simulation, and analysis across SDS projects.

The candidate will balance leadership with hands-on technical work in a dynamic defense program. The job requires a STEM degree with extensive related experience, US citizenship, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with 8+ years of related experience or 6+ years with a Masters degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Must obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period of time to meet business need.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Experience with power systems (commercial, hardware, and/or industrial applications).
• Experience with System Analysis using Siemens Capital, ETAP, MATLAB, and/or other analytical modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room team (8–12 ICs).
• Manage performance, training, and staffing for the section.
• Spend ~20% on home-room responsibilities and ~80% on a technical SDS project.
• Lead a team of engineers supporting Command Segment SEIT MS&A Team.
• Contribute content for presentations to stakeholders.
