Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Deputy Systems Engineering Lead to support SEIT activities on a DoD program. You will ensure engineering process integrity and coordinate with the SEIT Lead, Chief Engineer, and program manager to meet milestones such as FDR, CDR, and PDR.

This on-site role requires an active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates should have a STEM BS with 12+ years (BS), 10 with MS, or 8 with PhD, plus strong systems engineering, leadership, and DoD EMD experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field with extensive systems engineering knowledge.
• Experience leading teams on large DoD EMD integration and test efforts.
• Strong communication and interfacing with management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support technical management and execution of a team of engineering personnel.
• Plan, execute, and close out program reviews and milestones (SRR, FDR, IPR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Ensure system technical compliance with the SOW and system requirements.
• Coordinate verification of interface requirements and manage key metrics.
• Foster cross-team coordination to maintain program baselines and address technical debt.
