Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a SEIT Lead manager in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will oversee a 10-15 engineer SEIT team, guiding architecture, requirements, hardware/software design, verification and production support for a restricted program.

You will balance functional duties with technical program work, leading in MBSE, PLA, and Agile methods to provide innovative, reliable systems for warfighters and customers.

Qualifications

• This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline with 8+ years' experience or a master's with 6+ years.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong technical problem solving including root cause analysis and solution development.
• Background in cost and schedule management, Earned Value Management.
• This is a U.S. citizen role requiring ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Preferred: active Secret/Top Secret clearance and related defense experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional oversight for a SEIT engineering team across multiple initiatives.
• Lead SEIT processes and oversee cost, schedule, and technical quality for programs.
• Staffing, mentoring, performance reviews and training to enable program success.
• Recruit and onboard new engineering talent to meet staffing commitments.
• Support MBSE, PLA, and Agile initiatives to deliver competitive solutions.
