Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks a Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Lead to oversee integration, testing, and validation of a multi-discipline system in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop test plans, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

The role requires a strong background in systems engineering, verification planning, and leadership, with a willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL, and active secret clearance or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Software or related field with 8+ years, or MS with 6+ years.
• Experience deriving and managing requirements for complex systems.
• Experience creating verification and test plans and coordinating system integration and testing.
• Basic understanding of radar or sensor systems.
• Proven cross-discipline team leadership and communication during design reviews.
• Residency in North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area; US citizenship with secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee integration, testing, and validation of complex systems.
• Plan and execute system integration activities to verify requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues during testing.
• Define and execute test procedures and monitor progress against schedule.
• Prepare test documentation including plans and analyses.
