Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks a Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Lead to guide integration, testing, and validation for a mobile system addressing cruise missile and unmanned aircraft threats. You will define test plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

The role requires a strong background in complex engineering, DoD programs, and a US citizenship with active secret clearance. Huntsville, AL area residency or relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, CS, or related field from ABET-accredited university with 8+ years experience or MS with 6+ years.
• Experience deriving and managing requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Experience creating verification and test plans and coordinating system integration and test activities.
• Basic understanding of radar or sensor system operations.
• Experience leading cross-discipline and product teams.
• Experience communicating effectively in a team, including leading Technical Design Reviews.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville/North Alabama. US Citizenship with active secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee integration, testing, and validation of complex systems for a mobile defense system.
• Assist in planning and executing system integration activities to meet requirements.
• Define and execute test procedures, monitor progress, and ensure timelines/quality.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and Development teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
