Job summary

The teacher will deliver General Science in SEI settings, align instruction to district and state frameworks, and assess students using district guidelines while fostering inquiry-based learning and equitable instruction for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Massachusetts teaching license in General Science at the appropriate grade level.
• SEI Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Teach General Science for grades 7-12 in an SEI setting.
• Provide an interdisciplinary course of study aligned with state curricular frameworks.
• Implement district learning goals and use the district science curriculum.
• Incorporate research-based district curriculum that fosters scientific inquiry.
• Administer mid-year and end-of-year assessments per district guidelines.
