Qualifications

• Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree
• Massachusetts Teaching License in General Science at the appropriate grade level
• Meet all state and federal guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified
• Current authorization to work in the United States
• Standards of Effective Teaching expectations

Responsibilities

• Teach: General Science in an SEI setting
• Develop interdisciplinary course that aligns with state frameworks
• Implement district learning goals and objectives using district Science curriculum
• Employ research-based district curriculum to foster scientific inquiry
• Develop students' ability to view science as a thinking process
• Administer district mid-year and end-of-year assessments
