Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Segment Risk Specialist to work with the Segment Operational Risk Manager. The role focuses on administering the corporate risk program, identifying key risks and controls, and developing testing of those controls.

Responsibilities include policy and control documentation, risk assessments, and timely testing and remediation to support regulatory compliance. Office-based with flexible work arrangements may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk-related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage policy, controls and process documentation.
• Conduct risk and control self-assessments.
• Develop and enhance an operational and regulatory risk management program.
• Identify, assess and implement regulatory issuances.
• Ensure timely completion of testing per guidelines.
• Assist business segments in remediation of issues.
• Foster a risk-aware culture within the business.
