Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Segment Risk Specialist to partner with the Segment Operational Risk Manager in administering the corporate risk program, identifying key risks and controls, and developing testing of those controls.

You will perform risk and control assessments, document policies, support remediation efforts, and foster a risk-aware culture across business segments in an office-based role with potential flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or four additional years of risk-related experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk.

Responsibilities

• Policy/Controls and Process Documentation.
• Perform the risk and control self-assessments.
• Develop, maintain and enhance a proactive operational and regulatory risk management program and related initiatives.
• Identify, assess, communicate and implement regulatory issuances.
• Ensure timely completion of all testing requirements in accordance with guidelines.
• Assist the business segment in timely remediation of issues.
• Help foster a risk awareness culture in the business segment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
