Job summary

Vylor in Wahpeton, ND, is seeking a Production Technician to operate process equipment and support seed-production efforts on-site. You will follow detailed quality plans, data-collection practices, and safety protocols to ensure reliable production outcomes while collaborating with warehouse and field teams.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, flexibility for rotating shifts, and proficiency with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required/within one year of hire
Safety-focused with adherence to policies and procedures
Willingness to rotate shifts; overtime during peak seasons
Comfort with computers (Outlook/Excel/Word) and data entry
Good written and verbal communication; team collaboration
Attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving
Legal to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship
Hold a valid US driver's license for field driving

Responsibilities

Operate process equipment following safety policies
Follow Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements
Collect and record data for continuous improvement
Support preventative maintenance and repairs
Lead or support safety programs across the site
Assist with warehousing including forklift operations
Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, tablets)
Participate in field management activities and relationships with growers/contractors
Assist with harvest activities and related processes
Perform other duties as assigned
