Central Garden & Pet Company is seeking an experienced Supervisor at our Greenfield, Missouri location. The role requires safety-conscious candidates who can work with tight schedules and deadlines to produce high-quality seed products.

Responsibilities include overseeing seed cleaning, machinery adjustments, and coordinating with coating operations while ensuring a safe work environment. Training staff and meeting production goals are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Safety conscious and able to meet deadlines in a production environment.
• Must lift/pull up to 70 pounds and be able to train staff.
• Must complete seed training from the quality lab.
• Must possess basic math skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess the quality of rough seed being cleaned and adjust machinery accordingly.
• Run frequent tests on clean seed to verify machinery settings.
• Direct workflow of other employees to ensure quality.
• Repair or report machine problems immediately.
• Coordinate with coating operators to maintain seed quality.
• Maintain a safe work environment and direct staff safely.
• Train staff to perform shift tasks.
