Central Garden & Pet Company is seeking a Triple Crown Quality Control Coater Operator in Greenfield, Missouri. The position operates on 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, performing coating process tests and recording environmental data to ensure seed quality.

Qualifications

• Good math skills required for recording measurements.
• Organizational skills help manage samples and records.

Responsibilities

• Read and record temperatures of dryers and seed through coating stages.
• Read and record humidity and air temperature of dryers.
• Perform de-coating and durability tests every 2 hours.
• Read and record moisture of coated seed every 15 minutes.
• Report any out-of-limits readings to the coater operator.
• Retain and file all seed samples.
• Keep work area clean at all times.
• Assist coater operators as needed between tests.
• Coordinate with production and bagging lines as requested.
• Cross-train on coater operation to support the team.
