Looking for a great place to work with exceptional benefits? Come join the team located at our Tangent, Oregon seed production facility. We are currently seeking a Seed Processing Line Operator, responsible for monitoring seed line equipment during operations to ensure high-quality seed processing and production.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Follow procedures and documentation, communicate clearly during shift changes, avoid contamination, and ensure product is tagged correctly.
  2. Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  3. Inspect and quality check products, verify accuracy.
  4. Interpret specifications and calibrate machines to meet goals.
  5. Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously for efficient production.
  6. Operate systems such as Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  7. Train and lead temporary labor crews in seed processing functions.
  8. Monitor indicators to assess production progress and maintenance needs.
  9. Drive forklift to move inventory, pallets, and equipment.
  10. Follow company handbook, rules, guidelines, procedures, and safety policies.
  11. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
  12. Work a variable schedule as required.
  13. Occasionally travel, drive, or operate a forklift for business needs.
  14. Meet attendance requirements.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated teamwork skills.
  2. Strong technical skills.
  3. Ability to become forklift certified.
  4. Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in production or related fields.
  2. Experience in agriculture.
  3. Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and MES systems.
  4. General mechanical knowledge.
  5. Ability to train others in operating HMI interfaces.
