Job summary

River Valley Cooperative in Annawan, IL is seeking a Seed Coordinator to organize, sort, treat, and ship seed orders, manage the seed inventory, and operate the soybean seed treater on the day shift. This full-time position includes strong attention to paperwork and safety in the warehouse.

You will treat seed by order, maintain licenses, run seed equipment, assist growers, place orders, keep inventories, and support field marketing and agronomy activities as needed to promote quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver's license with CDL Class A w/ endorsements (airbrake, hazmat, tanker) required.
• Ability to obtain custom applicator licenses including Seed Treatment Certification.

Responsibilities

• Treat seed per order requirements.
• Operate seed equipment (Seed Tenders, Weigh Wagons, Treating Machine).
• Provide customer service in filling, loading, and delivering seed.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and office.
• Assist Seed Lead with growers and education on hybrids and product performance.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and submitted on time.
• Assist in placing seed orders and maintaining inventories.
• Support field marketing and sign placement.
• Promote a clean, positive image for River Valley Cooperative.
• Support Agronomy BU and events as required.

Job Details: Job Location: Annawan - Annawan, IL, Position Type: Full-Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day Shift, Job Category: Agriculture , A Seed Coordinator is responsible for organizing, sorting treating, and shipping seed orders. This person is responsible for the physical seed inventory in the warehouse, receiving/unloading seed, and operating soybean seed treater.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for treating seed, per order requirements.
• Maintain state applicators license to treat seed.
• Responsible for running and maintaining seed equipment such as Seed Tenders, Weigh Wagons, and Treating Machine.
• Provides customer service in filling, loading, and delivering seed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and office.
• Assist Seed Lead in working with growers and River Valley team members educating them on hybrids, and overall product performance.
• Ensures all paperwork is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
• Assist in placing seed orders and maintaining acceptable inventories.
• Responsible for field marketing and sign placement.
• Help promote a clean and positive image for River Valley Cooperative.
• Support Agronomy Business Unit and other activities, event and meetings as required
