Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a LibertyWorks Supplier Engineered Equipment Design Engineer to develop control system hardware requirements and guide suppliers through the design process.

You will collaborate with internal engine program teams and external suppliers, oversee design reviews, manage risks, and help deliver production-ready hardware for power and propulsion systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 1+ years of mechanical design or control systems experience
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• JD/PhD
• US Citizen required to be considered for this role

Responsibilities

• Develop control system hardware requirements and guide supplier design through gated reviews
• Coordinate design, purchasing, and manufacturing teams with Controls Hardware suppliers to meet program needs
• Identify and manage technical, cost, supply chain and schedule risks
