Summit Spine & Joint Centers in Newnan, GA is seeking a full-time Sedation Registered Nurse to join our ASC team. You will provide conscious sedation for outpatient surgeries, monitor patients, document progress, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Georgia RN license, BLS and ACLS certs, and has prior ER or ICU experience with conscious sedation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia (no limitations).
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ER or ICU nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Prior conscious sedation experience required.
• Familiarity with medical software and clinical equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases.
• Manage the care of assigned patients using clinical knowledge and judgment.
• Deliver patient care utilizing evidence-based guidelines.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition and document encounters.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Develop care plans and provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain professional composure and manage routine workplace stressors without disrupting patient care.
