Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) in Savannah, GA is seeking a part-time/PRN Sedation Registered Nurse to join the ASC nursing team. The role centers on providing conscious sedation for outpatient surgical cases and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Active GA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and conscious sedation experience are required, with ER/ICU background preferred. You will collaborate with physicians, educate patients, and document care accurately.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing for Georgia (no limitations).
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ER or ICU nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Prior conscious sedation experience required.
• Familiarity with medical software and clinical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases in conjunction with ASC nursing team.
• Manage care of assigned patients using clinical knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills appropriate for the patient population.
• Deliver patient care utilizing standardized, evidence-based guidelines and appropriate resources.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, administer medications, and document all encounters and progress notes.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Develop care plans and provide emotional support to patients and family members.

Sedation Registered Nurse (PRN / Part-Time)
Locations: Savannah, GA

Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia, offering clinical, surgical, and imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a part-time/PRN, self-motivated Sedation Registered Nurses who are passionate about transforming lives through exceptional patient care.

These roles will support ASC clinic locations in Savannah, GA Scheduling will be based on days of availability.

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with other members of the ASC nursing team, provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases

Manage the care of assigned patients using clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and decision-making skills appropriate for the patient population
