Summit Spine and Joint Centers in Georgia is seeking a part-time Sedation Registered Nurse to support ASC locations in Athens, Braselton, Lawrenceville, and Gainesville. You will perform conscious sedation for outpatient cases, manage patient care, and educate patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an active Georgia RN license, BLS/ACLS, and prior sedation experience. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential to collaborate with physicians and protect patient safety.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing for Georgia.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ER or ICU nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Prior conscious sedation experience required.
• Familiarity with medical software and clinical equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases.
• Care for assigned patients using clinical knowledge and judgment.
• Deliver care using evidence-based guidelines and resources.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, document encounters.
• Communicate with physicians and specialists regarding patient care.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Develop care plans and provide emotional support to patients and families.
