Summit Spine and Joint Centers in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Sedation Registered Nurse (PRN/Part-Time) to join our ASC nursing team. You will provide conscious sedation for outpatient surgical cases and deliver care under evidence-based guidelines.

The role emphasizes care planning, monitoring patient conditions, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians, with a focus on education and emotional support for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ER or ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Prior conscious sedation experience required.
• Familiarity with medical software and clinical equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• In conjunction with other members of the ASC nursing team, provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases
• Manage the care of assigned patients using clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and decision-making skills appropriate for the patient population
• Deliver patient care utilizing standardized, evidence-based guidelines and appropriate resources
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, administer medications, and document all encounters and progress notes
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Develop care plans and provide emotional support to patients and family members
