Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) is seeking an experienced Field Engineer in San Antonio, TX to support our Security division.

The role involves overseeing security infrastructure, programming, commissioning, and field support across multiple OEM systems. The candidate should have 5+ years in physical security, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and an active or desirable US Government Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in physical security.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Active US Government Public Trust Clearance (current or desired) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system infrastructure, hosting, connectivity, and licensing.
• Program and commission security systems for projects.
• Develop programming documents and system matrices.
• Pre-installation programming, kitting, and device configuration.
• Provide technical support to technicians.
• Apply digital licenses as needed.
• Ensure QA on system installations.
• Maintain device labeling standards.
• Collaborate with engineering during design/drafting.
• Contribute drawings, red lines, and as-builts.
• Participate in review of large or complex projects.
• Provide field support and training for technicians.
• Maintain and update job specifications as needed.
