Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America is seeking a Trainer to deliver comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, evaluate performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning. The role focuses on developing others and ensuring operational excellence within a security services environment.

The ideal candidate will conduct orientation, licensing training, and health and safety instruction, while maintaining thorough documentation and coordinating schedules with leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Oracle, etc. preferred.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Prior Training/HR experience in a fast-paced office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train employees, conduct new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, along with training in health and safety practices.
• Document training as required for purposes of licensing and under the terms of client contracts.
• Work with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
• Develop training schedule in conjunction with management to coordinate training activities.
• Follow appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, etc.
• Organize training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation materials, multimedia visual aids, and other education materials.
• Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate the performance of training activities, and to monitor the progress of trainees.
• Perform tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.
