Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America is seeking a Training Coordinator to oversee and deliver security training programs within the assigned Area. You will ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements for officers and staff and coordinate with management to schedule sessions.

The role involves conducting orientation, licensing training, on-the-job coaching, and safety training, while maintaining records and preparing performance reports.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience in the security industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with reliable communication, transportation, and right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
• Knowledge of training techniques, and ability to use audio-visual equipment and PCs.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees and job candidates within assigned Area; conducts new employee orientation and mandatory licensing training.
• Delivers on-the-job training and training in health and safety practices.
• Documents training for licensing and client contracts; maintains training records and prepares reports.
• Confers with managers to determine training needs and develops training schedules with management.
• Organizes manuals, testing materials, and multimedia aids; uses varied instructional methods.
• Ensures compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company training requirements.
• Supports performance improvement by coaching and providing feedback to employees.
