Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer trainer responsible for educating new hires on duties including tour patrols, evac chair use, incident reporting, and emergency procedures. The role requires deep knowledge of security operations, strong communication, and the ability to work in a high-tempo gaming environment.

Applicants must be 21+, have a Nevada Gaming Card, AES/CPR certifications, and a valid Nevada driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge on all aspects of the security functions on this property.
  • Must have computer skills to utilize databases and related programs.
  • Proficient with Tour Trax wands, cameras, radios and fire control equipment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Two years experience in a position with direct guest contact.
  • Prefer two years police, military police, or casino security experience.
  • Must obtain Nevada Gaming Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, CPR/First Aid and driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work any day or shift and present a neat appearance.
  • Must work well with co-workers and as a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts in-service training on new developments in the Security industry and tech.
  • Monitors and evaluates probationary employees during development.
  • Consults with Supervisors on new hires weekly with shift supervision.
  • Promotes standard training levels for officers within the department.
  • Designs criteria to maintain efficiency of all officers per security criteria.
  • Prepares reports recording events and incidents where the company is at risk.
