Job summary

Flywire is seeking a Security Technical Program Manager to bridge Security Risk Engineering with global Product, Engineering, and SRE teams. You will orchestrate security programs from ideation to deployment, translating risk initiatives into actionable roadmaps and embedding Secure-SDLC across cloud and AI ecosystems.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives, manage audits, mentor staff, and help maintain Flywire’s secure payments ecosystem on a worldwide scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in Technical Program Management for security initiatives.
• Experience in Financial Services/payments domain.
• Proven audits for PCI-DSS, SOX, SOC 1/2; knowledge of DORA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Security Lifecycle Program Management: lead cross-functional Security by Design initiatives across launches and AI tools.
• AI-Driven Process Efficiency: use enterprise AI tools to automate tracking and documentation.
• Vulnerability & Threat Orchestration: coordinate end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle with product/SRE/eng teams.
• Information Security Compliance & Regulatory Audits: oversee PCI-DSS, SOX, SOC 1/2 audits.
• Strategic Roadmap & Operational Governance: define roadmaps, charters, timelines, success metrics.
• Cross-Functional Enablement: work with engineering/infrastructure to weave secure guardrails without slowing velocity.
• Team Performance & Mentorship: coach junior security/program members.
