Job summary

Flywire seeks a Security Technical Program Manager to bridge Security Risk Engineering with global Product, Engineering, and SRE teams. You will drive mission-critical security programs from concept to delivery, balancing risk, compliance, and fast-paced fintech product development.

You will lead Secure-SDLC initiatives, leverage AI to automate tracking, orchestrate vulnerability remediation, and ensure readiness for PCI-DSS, SOX, SOC 1/2. You will mentor teammates and partner across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in Technical Program Management for InfoSec/Cyber Risk initiatives.
• Experience in Financial Services and global Payments industry.
• Proven audits experience: PCI-DSS, SOX, SOC1/2; knowledge of DORA preferred.
• Cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Secure-SDLC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Security by Design and Secure-SDLC programs from ideation to deployment.
• Leverage AI tools to automate tracking, docs, and security workflows.
• Coordinate vulnerability lifecycle with product, SRE, and software eng teams.
• Oversee PCI-DSS, SOX, SOC1 and SOC2 audits and readiness.
• Define and communicate security program roadmaps, charters, timelines.
• Mentor junior security/program staff and drive risk-aware culture.
• Collaborate with eng/infrastructure teams to integrate secure guardrails without slowing velocity.
