Job summary

Centerra Gold is seeking a Technician, Security for the Goldfield District Project in Goldfield, Nevada. The role reports to the Superintendent, Safety and Security and focuses on access control, contractor/visitor verification, and incident response within a mining site environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, EMT certification preferred, and basic First Aid/CPR. Excellent customer service and strong safety awareness are required to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT certification preferred.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor site access and security.
• Check in and verify contractors and visitors.
• Monitor and direct incoming calls and maintain main communications hub.
• Log all traffic in/out of the mine site (contractors, vendors, deliveries, visitors).
• Maintain on-site personnel attendance and safety awareness.
• Perform vehicle inspections as needed and weigh shipments when required.

Education
