Job summary

Centerra Gold, Thompson Creek Mine in Clayton, Idaho, seeks a Technician, Safety & Security to manage site access, verify contractors and visitors, and support emergency communications. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to work night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include operating the emergency comms hub, logging traffic, onboarding new miners, and assisting Health & Safety staff while maintaining security protocols and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EMT certification or desire to obtain is an asset.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Control site access and monitor main gate cameras for security purposes.
• Verify contractors and visitors and manage check-in procedures.
• Operate the main communications hub for emergencies and relay alerts.
• Log all traffic in/out of the mine site including contractors, vendors, deliveries, and visitors.
• Perform onboarding training and New Miner Training.
• Assist Health and Safety Representatives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
