Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Security Officer for the 2nd shift at our Fairless Hills, PA facility. This full-time role offers a consistent 2:00 PM–10:00 PM weekday schedule with no rotating shifts, and a competitive hourly wage.

You will help maintain a safe workplace, control access, patrol the site, monitor surveillance, and respond to incidents. Ideal candidates are dependable, alert, and professional with strong communication and observation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior security experience is a plus.
• Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Patrol the facility and complete routine security checks.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Screen individuals and packages using security equipment.
• Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X-ray equipment.
• Escort visitors and assist with check-in.
• Respond to alarms and security-related incidents.
• Communicate with team members by radio and telephone.
• Complete incident reports and required security documentation.
