Job summary

LogicalisUS is seeking a field-based technician to install, service, test, and program commercial Physical Security systems under direction of a lead technician. The role includes surveying installation areas, selecting methods, tools, and materials, and delivering reliable security solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with video surveillance and access control, plus knowledge of IP-based systems, fiber/copper/coax cabling, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School education or Technical Trade school diploma.
• Knowledge of security camera installations and access control.
• 3 years’ experience in communications infrastructure installation (fiber, copper, coax, hybrid).
• InfoComm Quick Start to Audiovisual Industry and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, tests, troubleshoots, or programs numerous Security Systems including: Bosch, Verkada, Panasonic, Milestone and Meraki.
• Makes minor programming changes under direction of engineer or programmer.
• Demonstrates job site leadership; acts as customer liaison in absence of Project Manager.
• Performs client training as needed.
• Fills out and communicates all required paperwork each day prior to leaving job site; responsible for job documentation as needed.
• Performs all tasks required on site to complete entire scope of work committed to customer.
• Installation of cameras, door access control, displays, and structured cabling systems.
