Job summary

IES is seeking a Technician II - Security Systems to program and install card access, CCTV, CATV, and intrusion systems per manufacturer specs and engineered drawings. You will lead small installer crews and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

This full-time direct-hire role offers full benefits after 30 days and opportunities to advance within the IES Commercial division. The position may involve travel within branch/regional territories as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Minimum of two years in commercial security systems or related telecom field with supervisory ability.
• Must know or learn company/industry codes and be proficient with the listed tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project documents; knowledge of universal color codes.
• Must meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV, intrusion) per specs.
• Lead crew, coordinate personnel and schedules to complete projects on time.
• Maintain accurate company paperwork (timesheets, work orders, changes).
• Adhere to safety, quality, and customer requirements across jobs.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.
