Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services. The Technician I - Security Systems will learn to install systems (card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion) and support the project workflow in Montgomery.

The role requires basic installation experience, ability to read drawings, and a commitment to safety. A High School diploma or GED is required, with teamwork and customer focus emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of one year of experience in commercial security systems or related telecommunications field.
• Must know or possess aptitude to learn Company/industry codes.
• Must be proficient with the listed tools.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must interpret blueprints and project documents including specs and quality requirements.
• Must know universal communications color codes.
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Technician I - Security Systems will install security systems (card access, CCTV and intrusion systems) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings
• Technician I - Security Systems will assist in the completion of all IES COMMUNICATIONS paperwork accurately and on time
• Technician I - Security Systems will adhere to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards
• Technician I - Security Systems will complete other responsibilities as assigned
