Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of security systems technician experience or 3 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, assemble, and program access control and VMS systems, including readers, doors, cameras, and intercom devices.
• Interact with outside contractors on security device installations and repairs.
• Service and troubleshoot systems per guidelines and standards.
• Read and follow installation prints and diagrams.
• Respond to trouble and occasional after-hours calls.
• Document installation and maintenance activity accurately.
• Maintain a safe work environment and keep information confidential.
