TEKsystems' client in the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Security Systems Installer for Charleston, Beaufort, Bluffton, SC and Charlotte, Rock Hill, Greenville, SC. The role involves installing IP cameras, access control, and related security devices on commercial projects.

You will read construction drawings, route cabling, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems while adhering to safety standards. Overtime and long-term career growth are available with potential full-time conversion.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of low-voltage, structured cabling, or security installation experience.
• Experience pulling, routing, dressing, and terminating low-voltage cabling.
• Hands-on experience with cameras, access control systems, or related security devices.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and device layouts.
• Ability to safely work on ladders and lifts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience working in commercial construction environments.
